Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
3-4 lts water
250g dried wheat noodles or 500g fresh noodles
150g fresh mung bean sprouts, washed and drained
Sauce
3 tb sp Chinese sesame paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tb sp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp black pepper
4 tb sp finely chopped spring onions
Method
Bring the water to a rolling boil, do not add salt.
Add the noodles to the boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes, for dried noodles follow the directions on the label.Test to make sure they are done before removing from the pot.
Drain noodles in a colander, then place in a large bowl.
Combine sauce ingredients then add the sauce to the noodles and toss well to mix through.
Place portions into individual serving bowls or plates, garnish with bean sprouts.
